Do I need to buy the Campaign to access multiplayer?
No, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is free to download and play on both PC and Xbox consoles. You do not need to buy the Campaign to play Halo Infinite’s multiplayer or make progress on the Battle Pass.
How do I redeem codes from promotional offers?
- Go to https://www.halowaypoint.com/
- Sign in with your Xbox account
- Make sure you are signed into the correct account associated with the Gamertag you wish to receive the promotional offer
- Select your user icon at the top of the screen
- Select Redeem code
- Enter your code and press redeem
- Codes need to be entered in ALL CAPS and hyphens need to be included
Once your code has been redeemed you will be able to see it in your redemption history. The promotional item will only be available for that gamertag. Your redemption history will show the 25 most recent codes.
What is the Battle Pass?
The Battle Pass is a feature that lets you earn customizations for your Spartan, vehicles, weapons, and more by completing in-game challenges during multiplayer gameplay. As you complete these challenges, you earn experience points toward your Battle Pass and level up through its tiers. When you hit a new tier on the Battle Pass, you unlock the corresponding reward.
You can check on your Battle Pass progress through the or by checking your Challenges tab from the main menu (R on a keyboard or Y on an Xbox controller).
Halo Support and Xbox Support can receive bug reports, but we cannot help players complete challenges or purchase season items.
Does the Battle Pass come with my game?
All the reward tiers on the Battle Pass that are labeled Free can be acquired without spending any money. The rest of the items can be earned if the player pays for the Premium Battle Pass. Progress earned towards the Battle Pass is associated with the signed in Xbox account. Other Xbox accounts on the same device will not have access to the earned items.
Do I need to pay for the Battle Pass to get rewards?
Some rewards on the Battle Pass are free and everyone can unlock those rewards. Other rewards on the track require a Premium Battle Pass to be claimed. If you make progress with the standard Battle Pass and then purchase the Premium Battle Pass, you will unlock the items from the Premium Battle Pass track up to your current progress.
Does the Battle Pass in Halo Infinite ever expire?
No. All Battle Passes in Halo Infinite are permanently available and upgrading to the premium Battle Pass is always an option. Season Progress is applied to whichever Battle Pass the player has selected as currently active in-game.
What is the difference between a Season and a Battle Pass?
New in-game seasons provide new events, new gameplay content, new customizations, and more. New Seasons happen for free and do not rely on your Battle Pass progress. Each season has its own Battle Pass. Each season’s Battle Pass will continue to exist for players to return to and make progress on, no matter what the current season is.
How often does a new Battle Pass come out?
A new Battle Pass comes out every season. Older Battle Passes will continue to exist for players to make progress on even after the season changes.
What do I unlock by making progress in the Battle Pass?
Making progress in the Battle Pass unlocks a huge variety of customizations, including weapon and armor coatings, weapon appearances, armor parts, entire armor kits, vehicle coatings, personal AIs, action poses, nameplates, charms, and more. All these customizations can be applied in the Customize menu.
Do I need to make progress in the Battle Pass to unlock customizations?
The Battle Pass is not the only way to unlock customizations. In-game Multiplayer events, some weekly challenges, some Campaign actions, legacy rewards, and the Shop also unlock customizations.
Can I transfer my Battle Pass progress to a new account?
No, Battle Pass progress is unique to the Xbox account that earns it and is not transferable. Halo Support and Xbox Support cannot grant Battle Pass progress.
What are Halo Credits and what are they used for?
Halo Credits are the in-game currency that players can use to purchase customizations in the Shop and unlock the paid track on the Battle Pass. Halo Credits are purchased by using real money in the Shop.
Why don’t I see the Halo Credits I purchased when I go to the Shop?
If Halo Credits were bought somewhere other than the in-game Shop menu of Halo Infinite, please fully restart the game to see your purchase. When you update your Halo Credits balance by restarting Halo Infinite, don’t use Quick Resume on Xbox consoles or suspend on PC. You will see the Xbox Game Studios and 343 Industries logo intros if you’ve fully restarted the game. This includes purchases through the Steam, the Microsoft Store apps or webpages.
Halo Credits will only appear on the specific Xbox account connected to the purchase and cannot be shared to other accounts from a main Family account.
The fastest and most seamless way to purchase Halo Credits is through the Shop menu in-game. This ensures the credits go to the account you’re currently using and are added immediately without restarting the game.
What is the difference between the Battle Pass and the Shop?
The Battle Pass is a track of rewards that players make progress on over time by playing multiplayer. As they make progress on the Battle Pass reward track, they unlock more items. Offers for sale in the Shop are unlocked immediately after purchase.
How often do the items for sale in the Shop change?
Some offers in the Shop change every Tuesday, while others change daily.
What are XP Boosts and how do I use them?
XP Boosts are a type of consumable item that helps player progress their Battle Pass more quickly. XP Boosts increase the amount of experience gained toward Battle Pass progress for a set amount of time. XP Boosts can be purchased on the Battle Pass menu or bought in the Shop and then activated from Battle Pass.
What are Challenge Swaps and how do I use them?
Challenge Swaps are a consumable item that allows the player to switch out a current Weekly Challenges for a random new one at the same difficulty. Progress on a current Challenge is lost if a Challenge Swap is used to get a new challenge. Challenge Swaps can be bought through the Battle Pass menu or purchased in the Shop and activated from the Challenges menu.
How do I redeem the 25 level Battle Pass boost from the Premium Pass Bundle?
If you purchased the Premium Pass Bundle, your 25 level boost to the Battle Pass comes in the form of 100 XP Grants. Navigate to the Battle Pass menu to redeem them from the Boosts sub-menu.
Can I upgrade from the Premium Battle Pass to the Premium Battle Pass Bundle at a later date?
You can only purchase the Premium Battle Pass once. If you have purchased the Premium Battle Pass, the Premium Battle Pass Bundle will no longer be available.
