Changes when playing with Easy Anti-Cheat Disabled
There are several important things to consider when playing MCC with EAC disabled:
- While playing with Easy Anti-Chat Disabled the public matchmaking features will be unavailable.
- If you click on matchmaking menu items while EAC is disabled, you'll get an alert that says "Anti-Cheat Incident – You cannot access this feature because Easy Anti-Cheat isn’t enabled."
- You can modify game files and content, then play online through Custom Games and campaign missions.
- If you're having issues playing MCC with EAC enabled after installing mods, you may need to restore the game files to their original state.
- If you are not familiar with modding and altering core files, be careful - you could accidentally leave your game files in an unplayable state, requiring a full re-installation. It's recommended to make a backup of core game files before attempting any modding.
