How to Update Halo: Campaign Evolved – Halo Support

Most platforms automatically update games. To manually update or verify Halo: Campaign Evolved is up to date, follow the steps below.

Updating Your Game

Close Halo: Campaign Evolved if it is open.
Open the Microsoft Store app.
If prompted, log in with the Microsoft account that purchased Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Select Library.
Scroll down to Halo: Campaign Evolved.
If an update is available, select Update.
If Halo: Campaign Evolved does not show an available update when it should, select Get updates to refresh the view.
If these instructions do not match the current view, update the Microsoft Store to the latest version.

Close Halo: Campaign Evolved if it is open.
Open the XBOX app.
- If prompted, log in with the Microsoft account that purchased Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Select the Library icon.
Select Manage installs.
Locate Halo: Campaign Evolved.
If an update is available, select Update.
- In this view, automatic updates can also be turned off or on, and updates can be paused or resumed.

Close Halo: Campaign Evolved if it is open.
Open Steam.
- If prompted, log in with the Steam account that purchased Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Select Library.
Find Halo: Campaign Evolved in the library.
Right click Halo: Campaign Evolved and select Update.
If the update option does not appear, Halo: Campaign Evolved is already up to date.

Close Halo: Campaign Evolved if it is open.
Select My games & apps.
Select Manage updates.
Select Updates.
Select Halo: Campaign Evolved and confirm the update.
Return to Manage updates to view progress.
- Select Queue for more information, or to pause, resume, or cancel updates.
- Suspending or closing a running game can speed up downloads.

Close Halo: Campaign Evolved if it is open.
Go to the game on the home screen or in the Game Library.
On your controller, press the Options button.
Select Check for Update.
If an update is available, follow the on-screen prompts to download and install it.
If no update is available, Halo: Campaign Evolved is already up to date.
