Physical editions for XBOX and PlayStation®include a game disc used to install and play the game. The Steam Collector’s Edition includes a digital Steam code in the box and does not include a physical game disc. The game must be downloaded and installed through Steam after redeeming the code.

Steam
If you have already pre-ordered a standard edition of the game and want to upgrade for early access, you will need to contact Steam Support to refund your original purchase. After that, you can purchase the Digital Premium Edition or Collector’s Edition.
PlayStation®
The Premium Edition Upgrade is not available on PlayStation®. Instead, players who have purchased the Standard Edition of Halo: Campaign Evolved will see a discounted Halo: Campaign Evolved Premium Edition, equal to the price difference between the Standard and Premium Edition.
This purchase includes all content available in the Premium Edition Upgrade, including early access.
XBOX Game Pass
XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass includes day-one access to the base version of Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Players who would like the additional digital content and early access period included in the Digital Premium Edition or Collector’s Edition can purchase the Halo: Campaign Evolved Premium Edition Upgrade for $20.

XBOX PLAY ANYWHERE

If you purchase a physical version of the game, including the Collector's Edition, it does not grant access to XBOX Play Anywhere. Physical copies are limited to the platform they are purchased for, and cannot be used to download or play the game on other supported platforms.

The Early Access period for Halo: Campaign Evolved and the Digital Story & Art Collection begins on July 23. This early access period is included with select editions:

Please note that the Digital Premium Edition Upgrade will be made available for purchase on July 28 for PlayStation®and Steam players.
