New Features
A backend update releasing alongside the Blue Team Operation brings new content and improvements to Halo Infinite:
NEW OPERATION: BLUE TEAM
The Blue Team Operation, which launches alongside this update, features a free 20-tier reward track and Shop bundles inspired by the team of Spartans known as Blue Team.
Blue Team is comprised of John-117, Linda-058, Kelly-087, and Fred-104. Armor customizations inspired by these Spartans are included in the Blue Team Operation Pass as well as Shop bundles.
The Operation's 20-tier reward track will be available to all players for free during the Operation's 4-week duration. Players can progress through the reward track by earning Match XP in multiplayer matchmaking or Custom Games.
Once the Operation's 4-week window has concluded, the Operation Pass will only be available if a premium offer was purchased during the window. If players purchase a premium offer during the Operation's 4-week window, the Operation will remain permanently selectable in the Pass Switcher.
The following premium offers are available:
- For 500 Credits:
- Permanent access to all 20 tiers of the Operation pass.
- Exclusive customization item: “Wintergeist” Armor Coating.
- When the Operation Pass is equipped, an extra Challenge slot.
- While the Operation is active, bonus Match XP during multiplayer matchmaking.
- For 2,000 Credits:
- Everything listed above in the 500 Credits offer.
- Instantly unlock all 20 tiers of the Operation Pass.

MATCH REWARD XP CHANGE
Starting with the Blue Team Operation, the "Top 50%" Match Reward has been removed and the 50 XP it previously awarded has been rolled into the "Match Complete" Match Rewards. This change will result in all players receiving an additional 50 XP per match in the following playlist types:
- Arena (4v4)
- Squad Battle (8v8)
- Big Team Battle (12v12)
Firefight and Free-For-All playlists do not feature this "Top 50%" Match Reward, so the XP awarded in those playlists remains unchanged. The "MVP" Match Reward also remains unchanged in all applicable playlists.
PLAYLIST RE-ORGANIZATION
Various matchmaking playlists have been updated based on player feedback. These changes may improve match balance and search times as players will not be split across multiple playlists for similar multiplayer experiences. - Due to core objective game modes being moved to Quick Play, the Arena Objective staple playlist has been renamed to Arena Social.

NEW MODES & ROTATIONAL PLAYLISTS
Two new rotational playlists have rotated into Halo Infinite matchmaking with each playlist centered around a new multiplayer game mode.

FIREFIGHT CLASSIC
The new Firefight Classic rotational playlist features a new endless variant of Firefight inspired by previous Halo titles.
In Firefight Classic, four players fight through increasingly difficult sets of four rounds, which each contain five waves of AI enemies. One of the four rounds in each set is a bonus round that rewards the team with an extra life. There is no maximum number of sets per match, though the match will end if at least two players activate the marked evacuation zone after a set or if all players are eliminated at the same time.

STABILITY IMPROVEMENTS
A game update released on March 12, 2025, implemented various stability improvements for Halo Infinite on both Xbox consoles and PC.
Many improvements come from Halo Insider and Halo Support tickets submitted by our community. Thank you for participating and please keep submitting tickets!
Halo Support tickets help the team here at Halo Studios understand what issues you would like to see addressed in future Halo Infinite updates. The development team is actively working on a variety of game updates and improvements based on both player feedback and bug report tickets.
If you experience a crash in Halo Infinite, please include as much of the following information as possible:
- Step-by-step instructions on what caused the crash. The more specific, the better!
- Attach an up-to-date DxDiagfile. To create a DxDiagfile, type "dxdiag" into the Start menu's search bar, press the Enter key, then click "Save All Information" when the DirectX Diagnostic Tool pops up.
- Include the Problem Report from the Control Panel app. To find this, open the Control Panel and enter "problem reports" in the search bar. Click "View all problem reports" then locate the recent Halo Infinite report. Double click on this Halo Infinite entry then use the "Copy to clipboard" button near the bottom of the window. Finally, paste this text into your ticket's comments.
Known Issues
With this update, the team has added one new issue to our Known Issues lists:
- The Halo Infinite development team is investigating an issue causing the lights on the Mark VI MOD [GEN2] helmet to appear with the incorrect colors.
- Update: A game update released on March 12, 2025, resolved the issue affecting the lights on the Mark VI MOD [GEN2] helmet. This update's release was announced by @HaloSupport on Twitter.
