Halo: Campaign Evolved includes safety features to help players control their experience and report inappropriate behavior. This article covers the available in-game safety tools, how to verify your safety settings across all supported platforms, and provides additional safety-related resources.
The Spartan Code
The Spartan Code outlines the expected standards of behavior for all Halo players and is a statement of our values. Violations of the Spartan Code may result in enforcement actions.
To view the seven core values in full, read the Spartan Code.
How to Report A Player
You can report players who engage in harassment, unsporting behavior, or other violations of the Spartan Code by following these steps:
Accessing the Report Portal In-game
- During gameplay, open the pause menu by pressing the Menu button (XBOX controller), Options button (PlayStation®controller), or ESC key (keyboard).
- Press the X button (XBOX controller), Square button (PlayStation®controller), or X key (keyboard) to open the Report Portal.
- Scan the QR code using a mobile device, select aka.ms/HaloReport, or press the X button (XBOX controller), Square button (PlayStation®controller), or X key (keyboard).
- In the newly opened browser, select Submit a report under the Report A Player tile on the Halo Support website.
You can also report a player at any time using Halo Support’s Player Report Form.
Any method of accessing the Player Report Form, including in-game or via direct link, will require you to sign in with your Microsoft account if you are not already signed in. Make sure you sign in using the same account you use to play so the report can be submitted correctly.
For more information about filling out the player report form, please see How to Report a Player.
