Halo: Campaign Evolved is an expanded remake of the 2001 Halo: Combat Evolved campaign, featuring high-definition visuals, a remastered soundtrack, and newly recorded dialogue from returning cast members. The campaign includes updated level design, refined controls, expanded gameplay, and three new prequel missions in Operation: Meteorite.

Playing Together
Halo: Campaign Evolved supports cross-platform Co-Op on PC, XBOX Series X|S, and PlayStation®5, with shared progression across all supported platforms. Split-screen is also available for up to two players on console.

Operation: Meteorite
Operation: Meteorite is a three-mission bonus campaign set one year before the events of Halo: Campaign Evolved. In this campaign, Master Chief and Sergeant Major Avery Johnson board a Covenant research ship to recover navigation data. It includes new environments, a new Covenant faction, and missions that extend into space.
Operation: Meteorite is included in all editions of Halo: Campaign Evolved and is available immediately.
Campaign Remix
Campaign Remix is an unlockable mode that modifies missions by applying different Skull combinations and encounter variations. These changes can significantly alter combat scenarios, creating unique gameplay each time a mission is replayed.

Expanded Sandbox
Halo: Campaign Evolved adds additional weapons to the campaign sandbox, alongside the classic weapons from the original game. Vehicle gameplay is also expanded, including a fourth Warthog seat, and new capabilities like piloting Wraith tanks and hijacking vehicles.

Collectibles
39 skulls and 13 terminals are hidden throughout the game world. These items reward exploration, provide additional insight into the story and setting, and unlock additional modes to play.

LASO
LASO, meaning Legendary-All-Skulls-On, is a campaign challenge that combines Legendary difficulty with Skulls enabled. With 17 Skulls active at once, it is the most challenging mode in Halo: Campaign Evolved.
